Creek Watch Training Session
Come join us
for the first
Creek Watch training session of 2025!
Saturday, April 26th at 1:00pm
Come join us for the first Creek Watch training session in Nose Creek by the 15th Street Bridge. We have been testing water and sampling invertebrates at the creek for the last two years using a set of simple test kits provided by the RiverWatch Intistute of Alberta’s CreekWatch program.
All equipment and instructions are provided, so just bring a pair of your favourite rubber boots and let’s explore the creek together!
Our goal is to test the waters of the creek every week until October to help monitor the health of our creek and we need citizen-scientists like YOU to make it happen!
Nose Creek Preservation Society is a Non-Profit community group of volunteers. Their mission is to “Speak for Nose Creek” in an effort to preserve the Watershed, Biodiversity, History, and Community Green Space in the Nose Creek Valley.
